Seed

Life held in seed so small
Becomes what it is meant to be.
Giant oak from acorn grows;
A fish from seed of roe.

Each seed produces its own kind,
Though not all seeds beget a life;
Chance and circumstance roll the dice
Of every life’s becoming.

Such ordinary words of nature's ways,
And lines so simple, yet succint,
Cause one to ponder and reflect
On great themes of chance and purpose.

Thank you for the inspiration, Judith.
I'm glad you are back 'in business.'

Thanks for some added lines to my theme, Peter. It's good to be back too, by the way.
