Morning Moon

This morning when the sky was getting light,
The moon—cream coloured,
Round-shaped—a disc, a ball,
Sat above the trees.
The sun was not yet above the horizon
But would soon be,
For the sun was lighting the sky
But without blue,
Not yet blue.

Judith,
You observe what may seem the most ordinary occurrences and scenes and paint them beautifully with the brush of simple words.

P.S. That's an interesting snapshot!

Thanks again for your comments. You are a true and faithful friend. I appreciate your words so much. Yes, the photo is indeed interesting. One isn't usually as lucky as that with pictures of the sky!
